Product details
The PORTRA 800 offers an improved grain structure for better scan and print capabilities with modern working methods. In the ISO 800/30° colour negative film category Portra 400 is currently the film with the finest grain.
Portra 800 has a warm colour rendition (warmer compared to Portra 160). The colour saturation is also a bit higher compared to Portra 160. A major strength of this film is the very good skin tone reproduction.
It is a very good choice for portrait and fashion photography when a high sensitivity is needed - or any other photos where it might be important to capture movement, or where only natural light is available.

Film Storage
All films are stored under refrigerated conditions at The Panchrome Project (1 to 6°C).
Upon receiving your order, we recommend storing your film in a refrigerator until use. Before loading your camera, allow the film to reach room temperature to prevent condensation:
35mm Film: Rest for approximately 3 hours
120 Film: Rest for 6–7 hours or preferably overnight
